HEYTEA Matcha Menu

HEYTEA sells 9 matcha drinks in the US, and seven of them cost exactly $7.99. That flat pricing makes this the one section where the decision has nothing to do with money and everything to do with how strong you want the matcha to taste.

The spread that does matter is calories and caffeine. Pure Matcha Latte sits at 170 calories because it carries no added syrup. Coconut Matcha Bobo sits at 390 because it carries coconut milk and brown sugar pearls. That is a 220 calorie gap inside one section at nearly the same price.

Triple Supreme Matcha Latte is the strongest thing on the entire US board at an estimated 130 mg of caffeine. Full pricing for every build is below, and the caffeine page puts these numbers next to the rest of the menu.

Supreme, Triple Supreme and Cloud: What You Are Paying For

Three words separate most of this section. Supreme means a single shot of ceremonial grade matcha. Triple Supreme stacks three layers of it. Cloud means a salted cheese cap sits on top. All three builds cost the same $7.99, which is unusual and worth knowing before you order.

Cloud Matcha Latte is the heaviest of the standard builds at 380 calories, because the cap adds cream on top of milk. Matcha Cloud Coconut Aqua carries the same cap but sits at 247 calories, because the base underneath is coconut water rather than milk. Same cap, 133 calories apart.

Matcha Cloud Jasmine Latte is the outlier at $7.49, the only build under the flat price. It blends matcha with jasmine green tea, which lightens the body and drops the estimated caffeine to around 85 mg. If a full matcha latte is too heavy for you, this is the version to try.

Matcha Quality and Why the Bitterness Varies

Matcha bitterness comes from the leaf grade and the amount of powder in the cup, not from how long it sat. Ceremonial grade is picked from younger leaves and reads smoother. Culinary grade is more astringent. The Supreme builds use the smoother end, which is why they hold up at 50 percent sugar where a harsher powder would not.

Stacking matcha the way Triple Supreme does multiplies both the flavour and the astringency. That is why it tastes stronger without costing more: the extra is powder, and powder is cheap next to the milk and the labour. It also explains why the calorie count does not move between Supreme and Triple Supreme.

The Extra Matcha add on at $0.99 adds one more shot to any drink for 15 calories. On a matcha build it deepens what is already there. On a jasmine or black tea build it is the cheapest way to raise the caffeine in a cup without changing the drink much. Details on the toppings page.

HEYTEA Matcha Questions

There are 9 matcha drinks on the US menu. Seven of the 9 are priced at $7.99, with Pure Matcha Latte at $6.99 and Matcha Cloud Jasmine Latte at $7.49 sitting below that.

It is the flattest priced section on the board, so the choice comes down to strength and build rather than budget.

Both cost $7.99 and both land at 340 calories. The difference is matcha strength: Triple Supreme stacks three matcha layers where Supreme uses one.

That pushes the estimated caffeine from around 95 mg to roughly 130 mg. Same price, same calories, noticeably more bitter and more caffeinated.

Pure Matcha Latte at $6.99 and 170 calories. It is matcha and milk with no added syrup, which is why it lands so far below the rest of the section.

Matcha Cloud Coconut Aqua is next at 247 calories, because it is built on coconut water rather than milk.

Estimated at roughly 95 mg for a single strength matcha latte and around 130 mg for the Triple Supreme, which is the highest caffeine drink on the US menu.

For comparison, the jasmine green tea builds sit near 40 mg. The chain does not publish per drink caffeine for the US, so these are estimates based on brew strength and are labelled as such throughout this site.

None of them are dairy free as built. Every matcha drink in this section carries either milk or a cheese cloud cap, and often both.

The oat milk swap at $0.99 converts the plain milk builds. It does not help on the Cloud drinks, because the cap itself is a cream cheese foam with no plant based version.

A darker roasted matcha blend at $7.99 and 301 calories. It reads more bitter and more toasted than the Supreme builds, with an estimated 110 mg of caffeine.

It is the pick if the standard matcha lattes taste too sweet to you. It is the wrong pick if you are new to matcha.

Supreme Matcha Latte at $7.99. It is the balanced middle of the section: real matcha character without the bitterness of the Triple or Wicked builds.

Order it at 50 percent sugar. Matcha needs some sweetness against the milk, and 0 percent tends to leave the powder tasting chalky.
